Flwr Farm is the floral arm of Farm Lot 59 — a women-run urban farm and nonprofit rooted in community agriculture for over 16 years. What began as a small urban farm dedicated to growing food, flowers, and connection has blossomed into a floral studio focused on locally grown, seasonal flowers harvested with care.

At Flwr Farm, we believe flowers should feel personal, intentional, and connected to the land they come from. Our designs are inspired by the movement of the seasons, the beauty of the farm, and the joy that flowers bring to everyday life. From hand-tied bouquets, special events, and bulk flowers for your parties, every flower is grown with love.

Sasha Kanno

After working as a florist in Hawaii I moved to Long Beach in 2002 and began working at Macy's Home Store at South Coast Plaza. From there I worked in LA as an event production manager for large scale special events all over southern California. Those experiences led me to a production role in the film industry. As art department coordinator for TV and movies, I also coordinated construction and have many floral designs that landed on the large and small screen.

All of these experiences along with my love for gardening, holistic living and determination led me to start Farm Lot 59 in 2010 where I have been farming and running the non-profit for a .5-acre farm in the city of Long Beach.

Flwr Farm was born in 2026 as a speciality cut flower farm. We sell in our retail shop and online.
